This book published by the Friends of Hinchingbrooke House sheds new light on the history of the House, and the Cromwell and Montagu families who lived there.  Starting as a nunnery, then a family home for over four centuries and it is now part of a large secondary school.

 

It is an A4 sized paperback book and contains over 80 illustrations of the house, gardens and the people who lived there, plus stories of events including royal visits and the many changes to the property over the years.
